Datacom App - UI/UX Design
Associated with

After the medical project where I worked as a UI/UX Designer, I took on another project in the same role, this time in the tech industry. I worked with Datacom LLC, a pioneering Mongolian tech company that serves as the sole registrar of .MN domain names and provides digital business solutions. Founded in 1994, the company introduced the Internet to Mongolia in 1996, enabling people to connect globally and access information like never before.
Datacom LLC had a robust web panel where users could manage domain settings, pay invoices, and purchase additional services. Over time, as more users began accessing the internet via smartphones, the platform’s web design proved unsuitable for mobile users. This highlighted the need to develop an app for easier and more convenient access.
First, I identified the key features of the web platform to ensure no essential functionality was left out. I then conducted interviews with several long-time users to understand their pain points and favorite features. Based on these insights, we discussed which features should be included in the app and which could be omitted, allowing me to determine the final set of features.
Next, I created a low-fidelity design (wireframe) to outline the app’s structure and ensure an optimal user experience. Once the team approved the wireframe, I transformed it into a high-fidelity design with the final UI components and color scheme. The app’s primary goals were to notify users of pending invoices, provide access to the payment section, display active services, and facilitate product purchases.
