Nowadays, people use social media extensively and often have multiple accounts across different platforms. Individuals and businesses alike manage numerous links to their personal or official profiles, which can be difficult to handle. This inspired me to create a platform where users could compile information about themselves and their links, then share a single, elegant short link. I called it MyBio and dedicated two months to developing this project.

I usually don’t start with coding right away. First, I focus on branding, which is crucial as the project grows. I design the logo, bring it to life, and create a brand book outlining the proper way to design posters, UI, and other design elements. Next, I plan the software architecture, choosing technologies for optimal performance, and secure a domain and server to make the project publicly accessible. Then, I create a low-fidelity design to demonstrate the user experience, followed by designing the full UI with consistent branding and components. Only after these steps do I begin coding, which allows me to develop the project smoothly. The process takes time, but the result is extremely rewarding.

An important feature of the platform is profile customization, allowing users to select background, button, and text colors, edit their bio, and link social media accounts with icons. To manage this, I built a user panel where they can freely control and personalize the appearance of their profile.

The platform also offers analytics, showing how many users have visited a profile and how many clicks each button received, helping users measure and understand their audience. This project is still in use, and a new version will be launching very soon.
